Skilled nursing is considered an intermediate-level clinical care — more medically involved than basic assistance and support but not as intensive as high-dependency care. This may include services such as medication administration, basic wound care, nutrition assistance, monitoring of chronic conditions, pain management and mobility assistance.

Who It’s For :

Suitable for patients who have stable chronic conditions, are post-hospital recovery cases, or need regular medical attention that doesn't require full-time monitoring.

Inclusions :

In addition to general care services, skilled nursing will include services such as basic wound care dressing and changes, changing and cleaning of urinary catheter or colostomy bag, non-tube feeding support, mobility assistance and fall prevention.
